Irving House is a large wood framed house on a residential street near Harvard Yard. We have been welcoming visitors to Cambridge since 1945, as a family-owned, woman-run guesthouse.
CONDITIONS:
There is a parking lot on the property with a limited number of spaces available on a first come, first served basis. Our guest rooms are on four floors and we have no elevator. We do accommodate guests in wheel chairs and with other kinds of limitations as much as the physical property and our staffing allows. We accommodate assist animals.
EXTRAS:
We welcome families, and will set up a crib without extra charge, just let us know when reserving. We can add special foods to our breakfast menu for your stay if you let us know when reserving: vegan, gluten-free, or dairy-free…
OPERATIONS & POLICIES:
Irving House operations and policies are fair trade and environmentally conscious. Throughout the house we maintain safe protocols to minimize the spread of COVID. We ask that all guests wear masks in common areas. If the dining room is busy, guests may take their meal to other common areas, or their room. When weather permits, we open the dining room windows to allow fresh air to circulate.

Please note: For stays between May 23-26/2023, there are different cancellation policies and restrictions. Parking is NOT included and will be restricted to those who have reserved and paid for it. There is a three-night minimum stay required. Payment for those three nights is required to confirm any reservations during these days of Harvard and MIT commencement ceremonies.
